In this January update (5.1.0.3095) you’ll find many changes and new functionalities including support for Message sets and new Environmental control functionality.
New
- Fill cells has been extended with the option to quickly program images from disk into multiple cells
- It is now possible to add multiple images simultaneously via “Choose image” from disk
- Last modified date of a document can now be consulted via author info in Document settings
- Home button is now larger for folders in the portal
- When external dwell is finished the dwell cursor no longer remains on screen
- External dwell now starts running only after 200 milliseconds
- New Voice actions: Save and Restore to temporarily save and restore the settings of a voice
- Eye control and mouse selection: the “after selection” indicator is now displayed if working with dwelling. This helps as visual support for dwelling.
- New dwell indicator: full clock indicator added for a larger full clock indicator (compared to full clock (small) indicator of the previous version)
- Eye control: added advanced settings for Tobii eye control for agility, reaction speed, looking away
- Audio and video: completely renewed for better music and video support (a.o. correct display of rotated videos)
- Audio and video: new Play/Pause action (allows to create 1 cell that switches between play and pause)
- E-mail: support for OAuth authorization for hotmail
- Environment control: support for BJ Live Infrared and BJ Live RF
- Environment control: ability to directly import IR codes from known devices (for Jabbla IR, UIRT, BJ Live IR)
- Message set added: it is now possible for a user to fully categorize and manage (add, move, delete) a set of messages (TTS or recorded voice).
- Automorphing in MyCore English was disabled (in Score, automorphing continues to work)
- Phrase Predictions added for French/German/Swedish/Danish/Norwegian
- German: Verb forms Imperativ and Konjunktiv are now editable
- French: Automatic merging of words added (e.g. à + le becomes au, je + ai becomes j’ai)
- Danish: Verb form Imperativ added
Improvements
- Several fixes for the use of capital letters in keyboards (cfr AlphaCore)
- Fix for pause button in InControl
- Fix: use of protected files in demo version of Mind Express no longer gives a server error
- Fix: checking security for protected files has been improved and no longer gives false notifications
- Fix: when ME5 stopped working, you could not restart ME5 unless you stopped the cloudstorage.exe process or restarted your PC.
- Fix: crash when trying to test the voice with the “change voice” action.
- Fix: importing a pageset from another user profile sometimes failed
- Fix: cursor in message box was in wrong position after Undo action
